General Position Summary

This is a position responsible for the assistance of local planned deliveries, pick-ups, or moves scheduled for him or her to perform.


Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

  • Report to work each morning as scheduled Monday-Saturday.
  • Review all work orders at dispatch counter before leaving office.
  • Review routes and directions before leaving office.
  • Perform navigational assistance for the driver.
  • Keep truck clean, organized, free of debris. Remove all trash, new and used materials, and return to the proper areas.
  • Properly secure and pad-wrap all items after each stop.
  • Assist in preloading of deliveries one-day prior.
  • Fuel all trucks after each use.
  • Report all accidents immediately to the safety department and local dispatch.
  • Report all injuries immediately to the safety, human resource, and local operations departments.
  • Attend and actively participate in the monthly, local employee meetings.
  • Report any criminal behavior to dispatch immediately.
  • Strive to attain EXCELLENCE in customer service.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous navigator or helper experience in the relocation and/or delivery industry.
